Jollibee Creamy Shake - an example of misrepresentation
WATCH: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Qu13c-HejY&list=UUyk1UBhROhDTgFzh6Ls-jRA
"Sarap to the last drop."
Then a part of the video showing a lady straw-scooping the creamy shake from the cup with full amount of shake.
The word "sarap" represented the facial expression of the lady properly but the latter, "to the last drop" did not show appropriate representation. Straw-scooping from a full cup of shake do not show "the last drop",
the video shows a straw dipping in a full and untouched cup of shake. So it shows "the first drop" because clearly, it is the FIRST and NOT THE LAST scoop. So it is not the last drop.
It would be better if the lady is showing how she really love the shake by inverting the cup up in the air while exhausting the last drop of the shake. I think it would better represent the term "Sarap to the last drop."

SUNSILK- Anyare?
Halatang may eksena talaga with the hat.
Then out of the blue while they are walking, hindi nilipad ang hat, kundi hinila ng kung anong organismo o bagay.
Then lingon ng nakangiti si Sarah looking up in the sky. Kala ko she's looking for her hat pero gusto lang pala talaga nyang idisplay ang buhok nya.
Then there's the story. MAINIT!! kaya Sayang!! Sayang ang sombrero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Jollibee Chickenjoy - Legs lagi?
tapos syempre, ANG UNTI NG LAMAN.
Mcdo BFF Fries - Vertically or Horizontally?

We know that McDonald's is one of the greatest when it comes to making credible, appropriate and worth-watching commercial advertisements.
So as I watch their new commercial with the theme #BetterTogether, I'm really fondled with the song, visuals and theme but I noticed something simply wrong. Not a big deal but napansin ko lang.
Ang cute nung part na pinapakita yung fries as downloading but if you can notice dun sa box of fries, with our angle of visual, may nakaattach na horizontal fries. Yes, nakaatach talaga, nakadikit. and then inaunload yung fries vertically (on our angle of visual now).
So to remove that question on our minds, nagdikit sila ng horizontal fries sa box para mukang normal box of fries lang yun with standing fries.
Check it out. play nyo vid then mapapansin nyo di nagalaw yung horizontal fries kasi nakadikit XD haha wala lang. pero maganda talaga commercials ng Mcdo. Napansin ko lang yun:)

POND'S FACIAL WASH- is that how you rinse your face?
Yung pag nagririnse na ng muka after washing your face with facial wash. Pinapakita sa commercials, get a handful water and splatter it on your face without any contact from your hands and face. Just the water-face contact. take note. all over your face while wearing a shirt.
There should be hand-face-water contact, hindi water-face contact lang. Kailangan syempre ng pagkuskos to better rinse your face.
My point is, just be real. Am I making sense?
San Mig Light - Later? Waiter?
Noong napanood ko tong commercial na to. I can say it's good. The theme is appropriate and both personalities are seducing. Just right for the commercial of a beer. Maganda rin yung one word exchange conversation. Very unique and classy.
Ilang beses ko ng napanood tong commercial na to and I did not find any flaw with the commercial. Napansin ko na lang na mayroon pa lang punchline o hidden joke sa commercial nung lumabasas yung second version ng commercial na to na parang may subtitle na or explaining what's happening with the commercial. I just couldn't find that version here online. Sana lang napanood nyo un para we are on the same page.
So sa last part nung commercial kasi, they have this conversation: "Call you? Your call. Tomorrow? Later." The conversation is very clear, pronunciation is right. et.al. Really no problem to be sought. Kaso bigla na lang after that conversation lumabas ang isang lalaking mukang bouncer na may dalang bucket of beer. Then the guy said "Yes maam?"
So 1st version. As a watcher, nothing is wrong. Namisheard nung bouncer/waiter yung "later" ni Sam as waiter.
So what's my point. It's a punchline or it's a joke, kaso hindi agad napadala yung message sa mga watchers na joke pala yun. So what they do is to make the 2nd version para malaman ng watchers na it is a puchline. Waiter and later sound alike talaga, but with the flow of conversation among the two personalities, ALAM KO NA LATER ANG SINABI NI SAM AT HINDI WAITER.
The point is they did not deliver the punchline correctly to the watchers. So they need to make that 2nd version pa just to explain everything right - WHICH IS ANOTHER COST for the company. And companies aim to reduce their costs in any means but with their commercial, naging mas costly pa. I don't know if it is their mistake not to deliver it to the watchers or strategy yun para gumawa ulit ng 2nd version na may subtitle or caption or explanation. What I know is costly yun for the company.
Sana if they really want to push that joke, they should have tried to make the bouncer-like guy to wear a stereotypical waiter look di ba. A man wearing a white long sleeve with black bow tie. Just for the sake of the commercial and proper delivery of the joke. Na kapag sinabi na ni Sam yung "later" tapos biglang may lumabas na guy wearing the stereotypical suit of a waiter, baka nakuha pa ng mas maraming tao yung joke. But of course ganun talaga sa isang bar, mostly ang waiter ay bouncer-looking na din.
Bottom line. They did not deliver their punchline effectively to all watchers. Maybe some people noticed the joke dun pa lang sa 1st version but promotion should create an advertisement that will be recognized easily by all consumers and hindi iilan lang. The 2nd version is another cost for the promotion and it is an expense.

Tide Taba - Abay Malamang!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tiUghVwGIc
C'mon. Di naman natin kailangang itest pa yan. Based sa thickness, if you will put the 2 bars on water pressure and with different thickness and have capacity to be diluted , OF COURSE!
It is like comparing who is taller among David and Goliath. No need to prove na on something obvious. It seems din na they're trying to look scientific about the comparison but it is not.
My point is, we are not stupid not to know kung ano ang unang mabubutas sa dalawa kapag continuous yung water pressure. Kung magkakaron ng mode of comparison, sana nga sa ingredients na lang at compactness with same thickness.
Kaya, the Tide Taba commercial is not a smart one.
